The newest mixed-use space in downtown Pensacola welcomes first tenants
(PENSACOLA, Fla.) February 21, 2018 — As you may have heard, the Great Southern Restaurant Group has a new concept in downtown Pensacola.
The Southtowne Office Building will be home to Angelena’s, a new restaurant serving Italian classics and brick-oven pizzas, imported wines and craft cocktails. Though Angelena’s won’t be ready to serve their first customers until early fall, the building is still abuzz with their first tenant – Clark Partington Law Firm.
“We have been in the building for about a month now, and we love working in the space,” said Clark Partington President and Managing Shareholder Scott Remington. “It’s exciting to have a workspace that is built to match our client’s expectations and our vision for what the law firm of tomorrow looks like.”
The law firm spent three decades in the Coastal Bank and Trust building a few blocks west of Palafox Street. This new space, however, affords them the opportunity to personalize the office with unique and innovative elements like a communicating staircase between floors and an inspired “Green Wall.”
“We wanted to create a healthy and sustainable environment for our employees, so we worked with SMP Architecture, Business Interiors and HeroMan Services Plant Company to create a two-story plant wall,” said Remington. “We focused on bringing natural lighting to the interior of the space. Accomplishing this allowed us to create this living centerpiece that reflects the vitality and spirit of growth our firm seeks to embody.”
If you are interested in creating your own incredible work space, you are in luck. There are still commercial spaces available at the office building and at the Southtowne development next door.
