The wait list for one of the 258 planned units in the Quint and Rishy Studer apartment building under construction in downtown Pensacola currently numbers 625.
Two thirds of those prospective tenants of the $52 million project attended an event Wednesday night the Studers hosted to thank them for their support and to inform them about the building’s features and amenities.
Among those in attendance at Seville Quarter was Mike Henderson of Cantonment. A Department of Defense employee for the past 31 years, he works at Naval Air Station Pensacola and is looking forward to retiring in a couple of years.
“I’m going to sell my home,” he said. “I’m tired of the house upkeep. Yard work. Maintenance… It’s like a dream come true for this to happen right here. It really is.”
Quint Studer and Studer Properties President Andrew Rothfeder painted a picture of a neighborhood that will feature retail, restaurants and other businesses hand-picked to deliver amenities to tenants.
